I like VIDAL SASSOON.

I like LUX, but it makes dandruff... so I cannot use it.

Most of my friends say Super Mild sucks...

If you use MA CHERIE, your hair look shiny, but I heard those chemicals to make your hair shiny are really bad for your body...

Merrit is good for people who have sensitive skin. What are some good Japanese shampoo and conditioners?
♡You've already got a GREAT list from AMY!

I personally use LUX Super Rich Shine -

shampoo and conditioner, ASIENCE - shampoo, conditioner and treatment.

http://www.kao.co.jp/asience/world/

♡^_^♡ Both of these leave my hair really shiny, silky and smooth.

In between I switch to Super Mild shampoo from time to time. I usually alternate shampoos and conditioners.

I just tried a new shampoo, conditioner and treatment called Segreta.

http://www.kao.co.jp/segreta/

It was OK, but I prefer LUX.

Just my opinion, hope it helps!♡

★BTW~You can always just buy the mini/travel size sets at first:

Constantly over and over I keep hearing LUX is the shampoo to try.

My hair grew outve japanese straightning and is curly. should i use shampoos for curly hair or dry? ?

my hair grew out of it and is chemically curly. i need to get it cut and its winter so i also think the bottoms are like dry. i straighten my hair like twice a week. since when my hair gets wet it becomes curly im not sure if thats the shampoos i should use. does any one know a great shampoo for this situation or kinda dryish hair???or if u had japanese before and u know what i am talking about??? thnxxxMy hair grew outve japanese straightning and is curly. should i use shampoos for curly hair or dry? ?
I have done the Japanese straightening before and I definitely know what you mean. My hair stylist always puts CHI SILK INFUSION into my hair and this makes it silky and smooth, you HAVE to apply to your ends and it makes it not as dry if you keep on applying it. Before you straighten always remember to have a heat protectent. Don't get another Japanese straightening again, just a touch up because it makes your hair damaged in the long run. That's why you need to moisturize it a lot

Are Japanese shampoos better than American?

Of course not. If they were, all the American women would be buying them. They're all made from the same stuff. Are Japanese shampoos better than American?

  • What is the Japanese for these shampoo ingredients: tea tree oil, sodium laureth sulfate?

I am living in Japan and running out of the shampoo I use to control my scalp dermatitis. It would cost $40 to import the particular brand I usually use, so I am hoping to find a Japanese equivalent. I need a shampoo with:

    1. tea tree oil

    2. NO sodium laureth sulfate (the main ingredient in 99% of liquid soaps and shampoos made in the USA and Canada, but I have no idea if the same is true for Japanese shampoos)

Please let me know both what these ingredients look like when written in Japanese and how to pronounce them. The pronunciation is the more important information, so that I can ask salespeople to assist me. Or, if you happen to know a brand already, let me know.

Thank you for your help. What is the Japanese for these shampoo ingredients: tea tree oil, sodium laureth sulfate?
Well, Have you tried Goggling it.

    Japanese Hair Straightening shampoo?

i had a Japanese Hair Straightening before 3 days,, but they didn't have the shampoo which i have to use after the treatment.. is it ok to use any other shampoo... or my curls would come back? i want to take a shower now,, i stink ..lolJapanese Hair Straightening shampoo?
I would use any straightening shampoo or anything that's organic because it'll be gentle and won't strip what ever is in the treatment that straightens your hair. It could become slightly wavy again, sorry.

What shampoo anbd conditioner should i use after a japanese straightening? and how often should i wash my hair

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, Harmon, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!

    Check it out!

CHI products are GREAT for post straightened hair. As far as washing it, I wash mine everyday and it seems fine as long as I use my CHI shampoo and conditioner. BTW you're going to LOVE it! It's so nice not having to straighten your hair everyday!

For Asians : What is the best curling shampoo to enhance semi wavy Japanese Hair? ?

I have slightly wavy hair but is straight in some areas. I was wondering what shampoo/conditioner is best to curl or enhance waves in asain hair. I have read about wash n curl, herbal essences totally twisted, SunSilk, Aussie and Fructice. I have tried Pantene in the past and it didn't work. Pantene ruins my hair from all the build up. Please experiences from Asian people. For Asians : What is the best curling shampoo to enhance semi wavy Japanese Hair? ?
Wow... Slightly curly Japanese hair... That sounds HOT... VERY VERY hot... BE HAPPY you have such wonderful hair!!

To be honest, price doesn't really mean much when it comes to QUALITY for shampoos and conditioners.

I would put more money in to the Conditioner then the Shampoo because when you get down to it, shampoo is almost the same as dish soap... Just milder and with better advertising.

A bottle of VO5 for a Dollar s 99percent the same thing as the $10.00 bottle of Biore.

Aussie is a good, reasonably priced product. I know their conditioner is really good!

Choose any cheep shampoo you want but only shampoo every other day or less depending on how oily your hair gets... I have hair that dries out easily so I only shampoo once a WEEK and my hair is fine. I use conditioner EVERY DAY but not shampoo.

A strange sounding yet spectacular product is ';Tail And Mane';. They say it is for Horses but I have used it on and off since the age of like, 8 and it is really good... And you don't have to use much so it goes a long way.

I have to use a LOT of products in my hair so I too worry about build up... that is why I use conditioner every day, because the extra coating of ANYTHING on your hair will help break the bonds of the oil and dirt to your hair... But it won't STRIP off all the good oils that are needed to keep your hair healthy.

Every person is different... You may have to try a couple of brands before you find ';The One';. Don't give up...

That whole shampoo i found doesnt work, use a wave enhancing spray like a sea salt water. and mousse

What kind of shampoo should I use on my Japanese Chin?

She is black and white. Should I use whitening shampoo? What kind of shampoo should I use on my Japanese Chin?
Yes, use a whitening shampoo. It brightens the white but doesn't negatively affect the black at all.

If you don't use a shampoo that specifically says ';whitening';, make sure that the shampoo you use is clear, white, or blue. Shampoos that are tinted other colors, like green or purple, may end up tinting your dog's fur the color of the shampoo. (You don't want your dog to have the ';old lady hair'; tint!)

I personally use Tropiclean Awapuhi White http://www.tropiclean.net/tropiclean_pag鈥?/a> .

Always use a shampoo formulated for dogs. Their fur and skin needs a different pH balance that humans do, so human shampoo will dry out and irritate the skin, as well as wash too many of the natural oils away. What kind of shampoo should I use on my Japanese Chin?
you can use your own shampoo.

whitening is just regular laundry blueing, used to get clothes whiter. It will have a blue tent if you use too much. So you can use whitening if you wish but is not necessary.
I have a Japanese Chin and I use regular puppy shampoo. She is lemon and white. A few people have even asked how I keep her so white. Mostly it's just because she just stays clean. I bathe her about once a month...maybe once every two months. That's only if she finds something rank to roll in outside, or if I can visibly see dirt on her.
it doesnt matter what type of shampoo. but if you want to make her nice and white then you can use whitening shampoo. any type of dog shampoo would work
Are you showing her ?? I basically use whatever I use diluted.
This very special Japanese shampoo made in New Jersey, costs about $1000 a pint. But it does make a lovely blond colours.

Paris Hilton and other brain deads use the same.

What is your reaction concerning Japanese women changing their image through shampoo ads?

Is it good? Why? why not? What is your reaction concerning Japanese women changing their image through shampoo ads?
Good or bad..who really cares. They are doing it for the money..like you said it is just an ad!What is your reaction concerning Japanese women changing their image through shampoo ads?
Japanese women still seem to be defined by their men who are very agressive males.
It is definitely good. And why wont it? These ads feature women the Japanese or (the rest of Asia) locals. Caucasian hair structure is definitely different from Asian hair structure. It makes the ';compare and contrast'; almost ridiculous.

By the way, shampoos dont always work the way they are ';reportedly'; said to be doing.
what shampoo ads? i have no idea what u r talking ab't?

I bought moisterizing, smoothing and for normal hair.My hair isnt really dry. I just wasnt sure which to use.I bought one for chemically treated hair which is lite. The smoothing one is pretty good to but dont want to weight my hair down, its extremly long.Had my hair japanese straightened, what kind of shampoo do I use?
i had straightened hair for 5 yrs, trust me they look healthy but over the years they will get dry and u will have split ends if you dont take care of them.

try l'oreal absolut repair shampoo and conditioner..

it is moisturising and leaves ur hair soft.

pls take care of ur tresses, i know they look great now, no fuss : wash and wear... but when they start to grow out say in 6-8 months, u will need to get a touch up straightening done.

don't get ur whole length done all over again, just the new growth, else the chemical will dry ur hair out..

good luck!Had my hair japanese straightened, what kind of shampoo do I use?
Better consult a hair stylist or any one concerned for better suggestion.

Does a pH balancing shampoo remove the japanese Chi straightening treatment?

I have the Chi straightening treatment in right now, but I'm thinking about going back to my curly hair. Will a pH balancing shampoo remove it? if not does anyone know what will?Does a pH balancing shampoo remove the japanese Chi straightening treatment?
Nope, sorry it's a lot more permanent than that...it'll take time to wear off or grow out...probably only 6 months or less thoughDoes a pH balancing shampoo remove the japanese Chi straightening treatment?
well it may take time for th treatment to wear off.

try the shampoo I'm sure it will help you get back to your curly hair.
It will remove it if you do the Chi straightening treatment first and shampoo it out.
no. the chi straightner system is likea perm it chemical changes the structure of your hair a balanced shampoo will probably dry it out. but if you recently just put the chi. on like in the last 24 hours. use a moisturizing shampoo. which will probably give you a little curl back.

What Type of Shampoo do you use with Japanese Straightening ? Are there any certain you may not use. Thank you :)What Type of Shampoo do you use with Japanese Straightening ?
After I got my hair straightened, it didn't really matter what type of shampoo I used. I really like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration because it makes your hair really smooth!

You probably shouldn't use shampoo for curly hair?

But I don't think it would make a difference.

The Japanese straightening is pretty permanent. I had it about 10 months ago and my hair's still straight. ^_^What Type of Shampoo do you use with Japanese Straightening ?

I recently got the yuko japanese thermal reconditioning done and I am wondering what the best shampoo, conditioner and hair products that people have used and gotten good results with. Thank you! What is the best shampoo/conditioner/product to use on japanese straightened hair?

What kind of shampoo would I need after japanese straighteing?

What kind of shampoo do you use after japanese straighting?

I wasnt sure if I needed for chemically treated hair or one with more moisture.Or does it not matter? What kind of shampoo would I need after japanese straighteing?
ive had my hair chemically straightened using the Yuko system. if you want the honest answer the BEST shampoo/conditioner to use is phy-ten-bella or kokoro-G but believe me they are OBSCENELY expensive, try 拢20 for a normal bottle of the stuff! i used it for a few months coz the person in the salon scared me saying normal shampoos will destroy my hair. i then became poorer than usual one month due to the bike deciding to die on me and requireing a new exhaust system... so i bought loreal nutrigloss - and it was fine! Basically use ANY shampoo and conditioner so long as it is high in proteins.(the protein mask treatment pot of tresemme was good for a conditioner!) i have found normal cheap shampoo that doesnt have this does make the hair go like straw and loose its condition quickly. hope this helps!!What kind of shampoo would I need after japanese straighteing?
well not sure but you can ask a butishion

What kind of shampoo do you use after japanese straighting?

I wasnt sure if I needed for chemically treated hair or one with more moisture.Or does it not matter? What kind of shampoo do you use after japanese straighting?
I would get a shampoo for color treated hair as those shampoos have more moisture in them, but mainly you need to concentrate on the conditioning of your hair. Use a deep moisturizing conditioner for color treated hair!!

Or...do you mean what shampoos feature in their advertising Asians? If so, then Wen ( http://www.chazdean.com ) is for every hair type and I just bought some of their cleansing conditioner and there is an asian, black, white, and girls with different hair colors and types in it's adverising, so it's definitely for every hair type. Wen is a no-shampoo line, so instead of using shampoo you would use their cleansing conditioner and this will get your hair as clean as shampoo would, but it won't dry out your hair and strip your hair dye like shampoo would. What kind of shampoo use japanese people ?
